Arlyne Arteaga is a proud member of the Hispanic/Latinx community. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master of Social Work at the University of Utah with an emphasis in Mental Health. She is trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level I) through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute and has also completed 40 hour training with the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault (UCASA). Arlyne's family is from Mexico, she was born and raised in Utah. Diversity and culture are important to Arlyne and she is passionate about helping her BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community.
Arlyne emphasizes the importance of social justice and equity for all and tries to involve these aspects in her work and personal life.

Her professional goal is to expand mental health access to BIPOC communities and
decrease the stigma of asking for help.
When Arlyne is not working you can find her spending time outside, rock climbing, playing with her dog, reading, or Latin dancing!
